Terms of sale

Draft (version sale-terms-2026-10-02). These terms are for the preview site and will be reviewed before launch.

Post Protector Pads is a business name used by Colin Dixon, sole trader, ABN 68 758 286 944, Mallacoota VIC ("we", "us"). Not registered for GST. No GST is charged.

1. Prices and payment

  • The total shown at checkout is a firm price for the pads and delivery to the postcode you entered, freight included.
  • Full payment is due with your order (card or PayPal invoice), unless you have an approved credit account.
  • We send your order to the manufacturer once payment is received (or once a credit-account order is confirmed).
  • If we cannot fill an order at the price shown (for example, an obvious pricing error), we will contact you before anything is made and refund any payment in full if you choose not to go ahead.

2. Made to order and delivery

  • Pads are made to order to the size, length and colour you choose, and dispatched direct from the manufacturer to your delivery address.
  • Lead times shown are estimates from the manufacturer. We will tell you promptly about any delay.
  • Please make sure someone can receive the delivery. Tell us about site access limits in the delivery notes.
  • Please check the parcel on arrival and tell us within 7 days about any damage or missing items.

3. Choosing the right size

You are responsible for choosing the post size and pad length using our guide. If you are unsure, ask us before ordering and we will help confirm the fit.

4. Use and safety

Post pads help soften accidental bumps against posts. We make no claim that they meet any Australian Standard, and they do not replace compliant playground surfacing, engineering advice for posts and footings, or your own site risk assessment. Check pads regularly and replace damaged pads.

5. Returns, faults and warranty

See Returns & warranty. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Ownership

Pads remain our property until paid for in full.

7. Credit account terms

  • Credit accounts are offered at our discretion after reviewing your application, ABN and references. We set the credit limit and payment terms for each account and confirm them in writing.
  • Invoices are payable within the approved payment terms. Orders that would take your account over its limit need payment before dispatch.
  • If an account is overdue, we may suspend further orders until it is paid and may close the account.
  • You agree to tell us about changes to your organisation's name, ABN, address or accounts contact.
  • You consent to us contacting the trade references you provide and checking your ABN on the Australian Business Register.
  • The person signing the application confirms they are authorised to apply on the organisation's behalf.

8. Best price promise

Best price promise. Found the same post protector cheaper? Send us a written quote and we'll beat it by 5%.

The quote must be current, from an Australian business, and for an identical product: same size, padding thickness and density, cover material, UV rating, length and colour, with comparable warranty and freight included. Excludes clearance, seconds, trade or bulk deals, and auction or marketplace listings. We decide whether products are equivalent, and we may ask for a sample or spec sheet. One quote per order, made before you buy.

Send quotes using the best price form or by email to ss@oze.com.au. We reply by email with your price, which is valid for the order and quantity quoted. The promise does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. (Version best-price-2026-10-02.)
