Netball post padding needs a netball-specific specification
Current Rules of Netball specify full-length padding and limit the finished padding thickness. That makes netball a custom-quote product rather than a generic “2 m post pad”.

The goal-post dimensions that matter
Rule 1 technical specifications describe the post and padding together. The finished pad therefore has to be considered as part of the goal-post specification.
Post height
The vertical goal post is 3.05 m high.
Post diameter
The metal pole is 65–100 mm in diameter.
Padding height
The padding extends the full length of the pole.
Finished thickness
Padding must be of uniform thickness and not more than 50 mm thick.

50 mm foam is not automatically a 50 mm finished pad
Our full pad construction starts with 50 mm foam, but the netball rule is expressed as the finished padding thickness. Cover material, seams and construction can affect the final dimension.
For that reason, PostProtector does not claim the standard 50 mm Full Protection pad is automatically suitable for netball. We quote netball separately and confirm the finished construction before manufacture.
What to send us
- Goal-post diameter or circumference.
- Whether the post is a standard 3.05 m competition post or another format.
- Quantity and colour.
- Any club, venue or sponsor print requirement.
Facilities guidance adds useful construction detail
Netball Australia’s National Facilities Policy says competition goal-post padding should cover the entire post, start at the base, use heavy-duty PVC for outdoor use and use a full-length hook-and-loop fastening positioned at the back of the post.
That facilities document also notes a reduced 2.4 m padding height for NetSetGO adjustable posts. If you are ordering for junior netball, tell us exactly which goal-post system and competition you use rather than assuming the senior specification.

Measure once, then carry the data into the quote
Select Goal post → Netball in the configurator. Your measurement, height, colour and quantity are transferred into the custom quote form.
